Parramatta Artists Studios
Parramatta Artists Studios is at the fore of contemporary artistic production. Located in the centre of Parramatta’s CBD, in the heart of Western Sydney, the Studios offer affordable non-residential/residential studio and exhibition space to emerging and established contemporary artists.

Parramatta Artists Studios contains 14 non-residential studios and 1 residential studio and focuses on contemporary artistic practice including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture, film and digital media. Parramatta Artists Studios contributes to the broader community through an annual program of events, workshops and arts activities. Activities revolve around the making, learning and sharing of contemporary arts in all its forms.
Parramatta Artists Studios is an Initiative of Parramatta City Council, supported by the NSW Government through Arts NSW.
2013 Urban Aboriginal Artist Exchange – Applications open.
The Urban Aboriginal Artist Exchange program creates an opportunity for an Indigenous artist to travel to Canada. The successful applicant receives $16,500 to cover expenses associated with living and travelling in Canada during the exchange.
Applications are sort from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists living in New South Wales who will actively contribute to the local Indigenous community through the exchange program.

2013 Parramatta Artists’ Fellowship
Parramatta City Council’s Community Grants Program supports local artists to develop their professional practice through the Artists’ Fellowship category. Applications to this Fellowship are currently closed. The successful recipient will be announced in May 2013.
Previous recipients include John Spiteri, Maria Ionico, Heath Franco, Chrissie Ianssen, Fadia Abboud and Melinda Tyquin.
